How much does engagement makeup cost in Delhi?+
Engagement, roka and reception makeup starts at ₹28,000 at Soni Singh Artistry, which includes a look consultation, HD or airbrush base, full eye and lip artistry, and optional draping. Across Delhi NCR generally, engagement makeup runs roughly ₹5,000 – ₹12,000 at salons, ₹12,000 – ₹25,000 with mid-tier freelancers, and ₹25,000 – ₹60,000 in the senior bridal tier.
How is engagement makeup different from bridal makeup?+
Less weight, same quality. Bridal is built for twelve-plus hours, several ceremonies, a heavy dupatta and a full day of flash — so it carries more coverage, more setting and a touch-up kit. Engagement is a two to two-and-a-half hour application for a single evening: lighter base, softer contour, more visible skin. The base products are identical; what changes is how much of the face is built and how hard it is locked down.
Should I book a trial for my engagement?+
For an engagement alone, usually not — a WhatsApp consultation with your outfit, jewellery and venue photos is normally enough, and it is included. Trials are included in bridal packages because the wedding-day stakes are different. If your engagement is being shot as a full event with a photographer and video, a paid standalone trial is worth it and we will say so.
Do you do reception makeup separately from the wedding day?+
Yes. Some brides book only the reception with us, either because their wedding-day artist is a family arrangement or because the reception is in a different city. Reception-only bookings start at ₹28,000. When the reception is booked alongside a full bridal package it is quoted inside the package rather than added at full rate.
What about hair and draping for an engagement?+
Hairstyling by a senior hairstylist and saree or lehenga draping are both available as add-ons, quoted with the booking rather than sprung on the day. For a ring ceremony where you are changing outfits between the ceremony and dinner, tell us at the consult — a mid-evening reset is a different plan from a single application.
How long does engagement makeup last?+
Set for 10+ hours, which comfortably covers a ceremony, dinner and the dancing after. It holds through banquet lighting and flash photography. You will get a lip top-up to carry, but the base is built so you should not need to touch it.
Can you do the engagement at home in Delhi NCR?+
Yes — at-home is the default. We bring the full kit, a daylight-balanced light and a chair; you need a table near a plug point. At-home service covers all of Delhi plus Gurgaon, Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad and Faridabad.
