Delhi NCR splits into roughly four tiers. Salon counters and beauty parlours charge ₹1,500 – ₹8,000 for a party or guest look and ₹15,000 – ₹40,000 for a bridal package. Emerging freelancers sit at ₹6,000 – ₹15,000 for party and ₹25,000 – ₹50,000 for bridal. Senior bridal artists — where we sit — start at ₹18,000 for party and ₹65,000 for full bridal with a trial included. Celebrity-tier artists start around ₹1.5 lakh and go past ₹3 lakh for the wedding day alone.

There is no single answer, and any artist who tells you otherwise is selling. Delhi has genuinely excellent artists working in different specialities — heavy traditional glam, editorial minimalism, mature skin, and destination work are four different crafts. Our own speciality is skin-first artistry and mature skin, so we are a strong fit for a bride who wants to still look like herself, and a poor fit for someone who wants a very heavy, very matte, high-contour finish. Most senior freelance artists do, and we do for almost every booking. We carry the full kit, a daylight-balanced ring light and a folding chair — you need a table near a plug point and about two square metres. At-home service covers all of Delhi plus Gurgaon, Noida, Ghaziabad and Faridabad, and travel within Delhi NCR is inside the bridal quote.

For a wedding-season date (November to February) six to nine months is normal, and peak dates in November and December often go a year out. For party, sangeet and guest bookings, two to four weeks is usually enough outside peak season, and same-week bookings happen when the calendar allows. At a salon you book a slot; whoever is on shift does your face. With an independent artist you book a named person and that is who applies your makeup. For a party look the difference is small. For a wedding it is the whole thing — the trial, the skin history, the timing plan and the accountability all sit with one artist instead of a rota.

We use HD-grade base products on every client by default — there is no separate cheaper "non-HD" tier. Airbrush is available on request and is genuinely better for some skin types and worse for others; we recommend one or the other at the trial based on your skin, not as an upsell.
